A GARDEN FOR CHOCOHOLICS

If the words "Hersheys" or "Cadburys" makes your mouth water, why not show your tastes to the world by planting a garden full of chocolate scented and chocolate coloured plants?

Start with the intoxicating aroma of chocolate shrub "Calycanthus floridus", a graceful plant with flowers of cupped, ribbony petals the colour and scent of cinnamon spiced bittersweet chocolate.

In the perennial bed, add the deep velvety colour of Chocolate Cosmos, "Cosmos atrosanguineus", and Chocolate root "Geum rivale".

Plant easy to grow Sweet Sultan "Centaurea moschata" and bring a chocolate scented bouquet indoors.

Grow Chocolate Vine "Akebia quinata", on a trellis and enjoy the sweet aroma of white chocolate when the brown flowers are in bloom.

The "real" thing is a true conversation piece, Chocolate Nut tree, or Cacao, "Theobroma cacao", a small evergreen that sprouts pods directly out of the bark!
